Natal Sharks backline player Sbura Sithole was involved in a car crash earlier today morning (Thursday November 6, 2016). His Audi S3 had a tyre burst and the car flipped (see picture below), but thankfully the player escaped injury.
Sithole played mostly at wing for the Durban based Sharks in the Currie Cup, but has also played at outside centre for them in the past. He has also represented the Blitzbokke The Sharks failed to reach the semi-finals of this year’s Currie Cup, with WP, Lions, FS and the Bulls qualifying.
The Sharks, via their spokesperson Novashni Chetty, confirmed that Sithole was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
